Hip Hop Church in East Harlem, at Harlem’s Hood Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church West 146th street, where sermons and prayers are rapped and danced as hip hop by young people of the neighborhood. "As hip hop continues to dominate pop culture, churches are using it to bring more young people to religion", and keep them away from the gun and drug culture of the surrounding streets. "The church also has branches in Queens and Los Angeles, and another one is set to open soon in Glendale, Calif".
